Marketing push notifications
This is your consent to receive promotional push notifications on your device. It is entirely optional, and refusing it does not affect your account, your orders or the service you get.
What you will receive
- Time-limited deals and discount codes
- Free-delivery moments in your area
- Personalised picks based on what you have ordered before
- New restaurants and stores near you
What this does not cover
Order and account notifications are sent regardless of this setting: order confirmed, food being prepared, courier on the way, courier arriving, delivery completed, refund processed, and security alerts. Those are part of the service you asked for, not marketing, and turning this off does not stop them.
Who sends it
Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), acting as our processor. Delivery requires a device token, which identifies the app installation rather than you personally.
How to withdraw
Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Any of these works:
- turn Marketing push off under Account → Marketing & analytics in the app;
- use the one-click unsubscribe link where one is included in a message;
- email privacy@svaggy.fi.
You can also switch off notifications for Svaggy entirely in your device settings, but note that this silences order updates too — the in-app toggle is the one that separates marketing from service messages.
Withdrawal applies immediately to future sends.

Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with the ePrivacy rules on electronic direct marketing. We keep a record of this decision for as long as it stands plus one year.
